The Urban Unwind

Young people in Christchurch don't have a place where they can comfortably hang out, explore and thrive without breaking the bank. When you take money out of the equation, young people are free to define themselves with other qualities: creativity, knowledge, curiosity, friendship, and love. When it's these things that matter to young people and not money, that's when young people really get the chance to thrive within their community. The Urban Unwind is a weekly event for students who need a place to hang out and unwind, it's an inclusive space that allows students to eat, drink, dance, laugh, and connect without spending a lot of money.
